Resource Agribusiness Group Resumed Poultry Supplies to the Philippines

03.12.2025
Resource Agribusiness Group has successfully delivered its first in five years broiler chicken products container to the Philippines that has completed customs clearance at the port of Cebu and been delivered to the consignee's warehouse.

Supplies resumed this July after the Philippines' Bureau of Animal Industry ban on imports of Russian poultry products in 2021 was lifted, and an updated version of the veterinary certificate for exports of poultry meat and by-products from Russia was approved. Currently, the Philippine National Registry includes nine Russian companies producing this product category, three of which are Resource Agribusiness Group subsidiaries.

A 27-ton poultry batch by Stavropolsky Broiler LLC (Nevinnomyssky Meat Processing Plant) was shipped to the Philippines from the port of Novorossiysk in early September. On November 8 the container reached its destination, though was impossible to be unloaded quickly due to a typhoon that struck the archipelago.

Resource Agribusiness Group experts continue to develop exports in this area despite the emerging challenges and expect increase in shipment volumes next year. Moreover, it will mark a milestone in the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and the Philippines, which were officially established in June 1976.
